Studio-Method is a Rotterdam-based architecture and design studio working with reclaimed and second-hand materials.

We work on interiors, furniture, small-scale architecture, and dwelling, for private and commercial clients and cultural institutions who care not only about how something looks, but how it's made.

Our approach comes out of years of research into material reuse, waste, and the built environment, work that's taken us into demolition sites, gardens, and abandoned plots as often as into studios. We treat second-hand material not as a limitation but as a starting point, one that shapes how we design, source, and build, and often leads to results that a catalogue of new materials couldn't achieve.

Studio-Method was founded in Rotterdam in 2021 by Riel Bessai and Pedro Daniel Pantaleone.
